HVL-IRH2 Hot-Shoe, Nightshot Video Light

This is actually two lights in one. Switch to infrared with nightshot on, and you can capture a scene in total darkness for quite a distance. The specs say 100 feet, and it may be so. There is no color when using nightshot. Switching to video light (nightshot off!!!) allows you to shoot in low light conditions. Indoors or outdoors. The range isn't that far, about 20 to 25 feet, which is perfect for family gatherings. Beware that using this light reduces the shooting time by more than half, because it uses the camcorders battery.
